Here at BattleBox we love to go camping! You can’t beat the feeling of sleeping out in the wilds, breathing in fresh air and fending for yourself. It’s the perfect adventure!

Why not invite a friend over and set up camp together and cook your own supper over a camp fire?

You'll be surprised how good a fried egg cooked in your own mess tin tastes - even better with baked beans! While away the evening watching the embers glow, playing cards and drinking hot chocolate. You could even share your scariest ghost story whilst toasting some marshmallows over the roaring fire and plan a secret midnight mission to find more snacks!

This is such a fun activity to help your child with and can spark a love of the great outdoors! Your child will need help lighting the fire and should be made aware of the dangers of fire – especially outside.

Children love the independence of cooking their own meal but its best to watch over them to make sure they are safe.

Key Points:

Our Tents are quick and easy to put up, but its always good to show them how to do it properly the first time they try.
If you are allowing your children to sleep in their tent alone, make sure you leave your back door open – just in case they need a midnight snack or get cold!
If you light a campfire make sure it dies down to glowing embers before the children go to sleep.
